Saffron & Paprika Infused Gin

Saffron & Paprika Infused Gin

Creating a saffron and paprika gin involves infusing these flavorful ingredients into a base gin. Here's a simple recipe to make your own:

-Italian Deli Online | Malfy | Italian Gin
- 1 pinch of Hea&Co saffron threads
- 1 teaspoon sweet paprika

1. Begin by adding the saffron threads and sweet paprika to a clean glass jar or bottle.

2. Pour the gin into the jar or bottle, covering the saffron threads and paprika completely.

3. Seal the jar or bottle tightly and shake it gently to mix the ingredients.

4. Place the jar or bottle in a cool, dark place for at least 24 hours to allow the flavours to infuse into the gin. You can leave it for longer if you desire a stronger flavour.

5. After the infusion period, strain the gin through a fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth to remove the saffron threads and paprika residue.

6. Transfer the infused gin back into its original bottle or a clean container for storage.

7. Your saffron and paprika gin is now ready to be enjoyed! Serve it over ice with your favourite mixer, or use it in cocktails for a unique twist of flavour.

Note: Adjust the amount of saffron and paprika according to your taste preferences. You can also experiment with different types of paprika for varying levels of heat and flavour.
