

Fattoria dei Barbi’s documented first bottling of Chianti dates back to 1817. A pleasant wine, easy to drink, ruby red, with light purplish highlights. The bouquet has a strong aroma of red berries, with a delicate hint of cut flowers. To the palate, it feels fresh, clean and expresses a sense of youth and endurance. Typical sour cherry note. It lends itself quite well to simple foods like tomato or meat sauce pasta and Pizza.
